Here is the low down. DTV came in to all the markets they wanted and threw DirectSat all the areas they didn't want. Within the next few weeks, DTV will have ALL of Kansas.
There are tow types of contracts in that market. The first being with the local office. Those are the companies paying the lower pay. The highest being 65-15 from CCDish (unless you get all the phone lines hooked up then it goes to 70-15).
The next being a contract with DTV directly. Those are the companies that are paying higher pay.
All I can tell you is to research the companies and pay. Most are from out of state and have traveling techs.
We are from the area and feel that it's time to fight the constant 60-15 rate by other companies. We do need to make money but we also feel that we can do that and still pay a high rate. We also offer some advantages over the other guys but I can't give everything away...............
