Re: DIRECTV Dish Configuration ????????

Here in Augusta, the 72.5 is no longer being installed by the HSP. I got into so many arguments with fulfillment companies and here's what I decided:

If you install the two dish system and d12's, you are exposing yourself to an "upgrade" within 12 months. BOOM! Backcharge.

I refused to install the two dish system or D12's. I called whoever the retailer was and told them to exchange the eq. If they refused, I walked.

The only way to install in the 72.5 markets that are converted without fear of backcharge is to install the sl3 or sl5 with H21 or above receivers.

DTV does NOT want two dish systems.
