I have worn out a pair of red wings, and never tried westcos. Most swear by westcos. I myself had a pair of whites aka buffalo boot company out of spokane,wa. custom made about 11 years ago. I am 230 lbs with a wide foot. I never felt more support than these whites, plus they fit like a glove. Mine, a bit expesive but well worth the custom fit. No sense being cheap for your equiptment, In my opinion..
