Re: I am thinking of throwing some money into STOC

I am out of the stock market. I am into commodities and government guaranteed investments. Unless you're interested in "day trading" or investing with a long term view, I'd strongly advise staying away from Wall Street.

Remember these sage words:
"A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose yours. A recovery is when Barack Obama loses his."

Until I see beyond a reasonable doubt factual evidence our corporations will remain privately owned, I'll keep my money safe. I fear nationalization of banking will lead us off the cliff. 

Lastly: Free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
