I NEVER charge for wall plates. I use flat cable in apts where LANDLORD/LEASE states no drilling of exterior walls!! I don't fleece cust. I use flat cable through windows and sliding glass doors. Satellite installs at apts should never be a permanent fixture. Because leasee is never permanent. That's why they have to fork out or provide their own tripod or bucket. That is NEVER coming out of my pocket. Been in this business for 8 yrs now and still going strong. I always consult Landlord for approval of install before I do my work. I never go in with guns a blazing. I've heard of installer charge $25 for a wall plate! No kidding! It those fleecer's who give this industry a bad name. Never more than $35.00 for my pole mounts, wallfishes range between $25-$50 bucks depending on difficulty of work.
