tmarti, I believe the answer to that is Barny Frank. A buddy of mine used to under write loans. He lost count of the busboys and dishwashers who were approved due to "stated income loans" referred to as liar loans for $400,000 mortgages. This was two years ago. I and alot of other people knew this was going to blow up. I sure didn't think it was going to cripple our country like this though. Now our government is rewarding thoses that caused the problem.
