Southern Cal. back in 70, Cel-Tel crew in a bar wearing their hooks, started climbing the cedar posts that went up through the ceiling, about 10 of them in the bar..bartender got pissed and ran them out..they brought back a winch truck, set it up in the front door...wrapped the winch line around the bar and winched it out the front door..Bob Owens (owner of Cal-Tel) had to pay for the bar and fired every lineman on the job the next day..about 70 of us..I was not there that night, as several of us weren't but got fired anyway..Hired us all back the next day. Cable use to be fun.
