direct tv actually in their contract, specify a new 3k line run is to be run to each reciever, but we all know that is bs. Most of us have been doing this long enough to know that there is still money to be made on installs out there and most customers are thrilled when a experienced tech shows up WILLING to do the work, rather than the first of a long line of dumb asses that dont care about what kind of work they do, not realizing that they are making things twice as bad for the rest of us that do solid work to begin with.
