Try hooking up TV 1 (Ch. 3), instead of the TV2 port, to the diplexer to tv 2 without the remote antenna. If the picture is still grainy, you have either interference or a poor connection or a splitter in the line or too much distance.
The setup should be as follows:
1.> Behind the receiver, hook up the remote antenna port to one of the "out" ports on a two-way splitter. Then hook up TV2 to the other "out" port. Run a jumper from the "in" port of the two-way to the antenna port on the diplexer. Hook up the DPP separator to the Satellite side of the diplexer.
2.> At the junction box, or where the cables meet, hook up the line from the LNB to the SAT side of the dipliexer, and then, hook up the TV2 line to the antenna side of the diplexer.
3.> Behind TV2, hook up the line coming in to the "in" port on the two-way. Then, run a jumper from one "out" port to the TV, and screw the remote antenna onto the other "out" port of the two-way. This will work, as long as there are no othe splitters in the line and the distance between the two is less than 100 feet.
You definitely need diplexers that are rated for the level of signal going through it. If this doesn't work, try to insert a cheap 10db-20db UHF amp behind the TV 1 location. This is important because behind TV 2, you'll just be amplifying a bad signal.
HTH.
The amp would be installed "in-line" between the TV2 out port on the receiver and the "out" port on the two-way.
