I don't know if I'm the republican in SC you speak of. I want to set the record straight That I vote that way a lot but not in the last election, at least for president. I did vote but it was not for O or McCain. It depends on the person running. Most, not all republicans are just as bad as most, but not all democrats. I have met some from both parties that I respect but not many. They have no concept what it would be like to work a real job in the real world. All they know is spend, spend, spend. It needs to slow down. We have to spend but this is ridiculous. All they want to do is slam each other and blame anybody but themselves for any problems.
They (politicians both parties) sit in DC and tell us we need to do this or we need to do that. Automakers need to make more fuel efficient cars. I wonder how much JP4 Nancy Pelosi's flights on a full size jet each week waste because she did not like the small jet that was furnished the Speaker of the House. And yet she has the gall to tell me my truck is wasteful. I think not. Or how about Dick Chaney making sure his Halburton buddies were taken care of wiring up barracks in Iraq? Could not wire them to code because there is no electrical code in Iraq. BS, if I screw up a job they (the government) will have my license in a second. I am going Monday to do a job at a AFB in SC. I think I will tell them "I'll just wire it however I want to". I don't think that will happen. It's BS and needs to stop.
Sorry got on a rant, just don't want to be lumped with either party.
If you knew me you would think all this ranting I have been doing the last few weeks is not like me. I'm usually a pretty quiet person but this spending fiasco has made me snap. I admit it, I have officially snapped.
