Some Of the smaller fios companies won't pay the Miss Utility fees so all the other utilities are located but theirs. On top of that , a lot of FTTP cable is dialectric, although I have seen some put into 2" duct with a copper locator wire built in. Don't worry people, there will be plenty of maintanance. A lot of rehab. I have seen a lot of new outside plant look like 20 year old crap due to what I call workmanshit.
