Who is going to be hiring now? Have you seen our esteemed president is proposing? When will we learn that taxing the people who earn big money also spend big money and support the economy as a whole. And since when is 250,000 huge money? According to Obama, at that number you a super wealthy.

Your friends in the gov't ,as well intentioned as you think they are, are trying to destroy this country by changing from capitalism to socialism. Show me one nation that is or has gone down that road that has had a better economy, lower unemployment or personal freedom. You want this country to straighten out, take the government out of everything rxcept national defense, the fed court system and printing money ( yes only they can still do that) and get out of my home, my business and my life, and we will be fine. How did the country survive all of those years with a small federal government with no deficit.

Learn your history gwester, up until ww II, this country had a very small fed gov't and NO deficits. Everyone could afford health care with out a gigantic federal program wasting money to provide it. People retired with their own money, not beholden to another government program withering away the money we all gave them.

I am really getting tired of people who do not want any resposibility for their own life, who want the government to do everything for them and paying for it and the pols too gleefully doing it for you to get reelected. Did you ever wonder why your federal tax bill is so high as compared to you state and locals? Do you find it funny that the states and locals depend on money from the feds to fund their budgets? It is a ponzi scheme. You send gigantic sums of money to DC, they write budget bills that fill a couple of filing cabinets that very few people read moreless understand. Then dole it out as they see fit. In my humble opinion your LOCAL, not federal or even state, taxes should be you highest. The locals provide most of the services you receive. And people are far more likely to go to their town hall meeting and ask why are you spending my money like an ass as oppossed to going to DC, where you will not be able to speak to YOUR eleceted congressman or senator. The way things are done now, is more to provide cover to politicians than to do what is right. A pol can propose a program in their state, have the federal government pay for it, not have to raise taxes to pay for it and come out looking like a hero for doing itt with no new taxes. If any program is worth doing, the politician should have no problem telling people about it and why taxes need to be raised to pay for it.

It is scary the way we do things now, and it has to change to get better
