Was up in MD during the holidays and 2 friends had Fios. One got HSI/PHONE/HDDVR and Cell services for $230 a month for the whole deal. I checked out the install and the mini nodes and the whole setup just plugs into your existing wiring. The minute I saw the whole setup I realized that FTTH is the next generation period.
Now, I don't know much about much, but it ain't rocket science to see the HD quality, HSI/PHONE upload/download speed packaged with the pricing,then add low maint....
It may take a while but this is the direction we are all heading is my limited opinion..
If it comes near my area I will be on that like stink on poo.
