Re: I am moving to Australia

If you read the entire Snopes article you will see the comments posted are attributed to Australian Treasurer Peter Costello, Education minister Brendan Nelson, and U.S. Air Force veteran Barry Loudermilk (published in his local Georgia newspaper The Bartow Trader).  I guess my point is none of the comments posted were made by Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.  I would consider it highly misleading.  I would never consider moving to Australia based on comments by 2 minor out of office Australian ministers.
