I've done DSI fulfillment for three separate companies. As long as you've used the proper materials, take the proper pictures, you are in the clear from chargebacks. They pay timely to their subs. The problems I've run into are the subs, never DSI. I've had subs offer me $100 for a WB install. What a joke. I've been offered 55/10 for DTV. What a joke. I've had subs that tried backcharging me, knowing I had pictures to prove proper installation. I've had subs try to put my custom charges on a 1099. I've had subs try to force schedule work on me (contractor v employee argument). My decision is: I will continue to install WildBlue,HughesNet,DirecTV and Dishnet, but ONLY if I sell the job myself or a local retailer provides the job.(For my sales, WB pays $270 w/o custom. 4 room DTV is $265 w/o custom) I refuse any and all fulfillment work. It's just not worth the drama.
Peace,
Rick
