The worst thing you can do to a newbie is have him swapping lashers before ever being on the ground end of that rope. You have to gain respect for that moneymaker from the ground up. Old school pays off when it comes to training an apprentice. Otherwise, you end up with a sissy that catches shit the rest of his career because it SHOWS when Old School was not implicated in his early years!
