if they worked under mastec that is the problem mastec will give any joe blow a contract because mastec in the end will screw everybody they have the worst techs i am a cable guy and went to do directv for about 2 months and i never seen such crappy work in my life as the work from inhouse mastec techs i had to take pics of all my work so they can use the pics to make them look good i did for awhile and then i came to my senses and would not work for any company where mastec has been or is i have standards and i will not bring them down for any amount of money and as for the pay it is allways messed up so if all the good techs out there would stop working for these fly by nite contractors for mastec maybe direct tv would kick them out or better customers will perfer cable and we all will have work for the people who like what they do and do a good neat job
