Again a classic example of a tech who comes to work claiming to have many years of experience 20 in this case and yet can not figure out how to complete the amount of required jobs per day in the proper time frame or quality required. When the jobs were added up at the end of the month John here completed 72 jobs, an average of 2.5 jobs per day, working 6 day's a week, where other techs completed 178 jobs per month working 5 day's a week at 7.4 jobs per day.
John was one of six techs who were all on the same page and ended up heading home, could not spur " climb polls", were not productive, and had high repeats, did not have proper safety equipment and the list goes on. We tried working with these techs allowing them to get up to speed it just never happened. There are over 100 Techs in the BC area that are doing fine and these fellows had some trouble.
As well the jobs that you did complete were not done correctly and we had to send another tech out with in 8 day's to fix that job that you never completed properly. John you were my second highest tech for repeat issues. As well it took you over 1.5 hours to install a NID on the side of a house this is not the work of an experienced tech.
So yes if you bill $3000 per week and you have 10 repeats with in 8 day's you do not get paid for those jobs, It is in the contract. Yet you still seem surprised that when you do poor quality work and do not fix the problem, You do not get paid for that job. Sorry but we do not pay two techs to fix the same job it just does not work that way.
And yes there is a thing that is called exchange rate which is posted in the Job advertisement and most people understand how exchange rates work. As for the border taking a cut the only thing the boarder charges you for is a VISA to enter the country which you were reimbursed for.
Just because you can not cut it in the I&R world makes no reason for you to be busy at your keyboard trying to keep other techs from making a decent living. And one more time, Before you came to work up here I clearly told you, If you can not do the job do not waste your gas because you will not make any money and be on your way home.
As well the cost of living ranges from $400.00 per month for a shared accommodation up to $1500 for a brand new 1 bdrm Condo.
Good luck in your future endeavors,
Evolution Tech.
