So thats why BBI trucks are jalopys! I've only seen them around, never met one. From what I hear, the pay in Polk county (Lakeland/Winter Haven) is a little higher, but Tampa's got volume. I worked for CTIS way back in the day and it was 50/50. It seemed to depend a lot on who your supervisor was. I interviewed at Kabelink last fall and they seemed straight-up, but I definately didnt fall in love with the price sheet. There was an ad on here recently for Tallahassee (mgr. Davis). I know him, and he is as good as they get. Unless Tampa is a must, I would look elsewhere- oversaturated with cable guys and too much competition. Also Brighthouse has murderous specs and they love to backcharge for everything- they'll measure your clip spacing, charge you for missing buttons on wallboxes, insist that you replace full drop before you refer a service call (so I've heard, it wasn't so bad 6 years ago when I worked Brighthouse, but it's a whole new game out here with VZ moving in) Good luck.
