windmill work

I am wanting to get out of the telco industry, lineman work just not like it used to be, very slow and pay getting very low. I have heard the place to go might be in the construction of windmills. Since this is one of the growing ways we will be generating power, does anyone have any information where to start or who to contact? I live in Michigan. Thank you, (-REDACTED-)
