You are 100% correct.  If we all stuck to our guns, things might change.  We need to form a UNION and not let these contractors get away with the crap they get away with.  I have been following these broadband forums for a while now.  Not just CABL Bar but other ones and I have noticed one thing in common with the concerns of my fellow technicians.  Most of them register, or log on complaints about how they have been worked over by this or that contractor.  IMAGINE for example if all of us technicians formed a national union and established requirements for doing work for these big companies.  We could bring THEM on their knees.  It is time that we all get paid on time, get paid the correct wages,  and not cave in to these companies that keep giving the shaft to worker and them keeping the gold!
