...I'm out...Have a steady job that the pay sucks but is stable and I am home every night and the job is actually kinda fun...Not many doing what I do now...I totally lucked out getting this gig...Especially with the way this job market is today...But the reason I got out was because of a severe injury and necessary operation(s) after working an outage...If I could I'd still be in the biz...
All of us old dogs knew the day would come when the work would dry up after the country was wired...Just a natural progression...I had a great 25+ years as a whole so no complaints...But like you...sure do wish it could have continued...
