Yeah I liked George Tomosi. Him and Joe were always looking after the lineman, George Brown tought me how to climb then told ccg that he had a guy who could climb but did not know catv. so they hired me in thats when the only ones who had a bucket truck was the trunk crew and the splicers. All we had was a flatbed with a rack and them wooden boxes for your hardware. needless to say i learned old school real fast from the Green brothers. Made me use a brasin bit even though they had 3 gas drills on the truck, they would loosen the bit so i would have to back the bit out with channel locks. they kept cussing me what the f...* is taken you so long. Then they put me on a crew with Dave Jordan. He really tought me alot thats when Joe would be out there without you knowing watching your crew.I did also work with them in West Palm . I also went to Guam for PDQ cable that was cool. Now Ive been working a Maint. contract for comcast in Alabama for 9 years, working for different contracters but still in the same city. Ive have been doing all there aireal, tired of doing the work hard to find anyone to train not much climbing but when its time to I am still the one doing it. Its like I have to much Know how to move up to the next level. Who else is going to do what I do?
