Well Fox isn't the only one that has shown this. And just because Fox did...is it a lie? And why is it laughable? Because the others won't report it? I wonder why the liberal press wouldn't report anything to make the democrat party look bad if they can help it. And I looked at CNN 2 days ago and even they reported the main cause...not the only cause....was the mortgage crisis. I feel ya on working people deserving houses but no one deserves what they can't afford to pay for. Giving houses away is socialism. Most of us have enough to worry about without having our money taken from us so others who didn't want to get an education, when they had the opportunity to, can have a house they can't afford to pay for.

When I give money to help others it is voluntary. And when I can afford it. Most people resent the idea that they are going to have their money taken without their consent to help those who refuse to help themselves.

they didn't give the banks 750 billion dollars. 350 was the first part of the money to go out. They are trying to figure out what to do with the other 350....on top of the "stimulus" pork package. Only a portion of the 700 billion was given out and much of it to AIG. In case you didn't know, AIG insures the pension fund for the federal government. Who do you think they were helping with that one? And why hasn't the money gone back into the economy that the banks were given? It is all a scam on you, me and everyone else.

Wall street is part of it but it doesn't exist without people putting their money in it. And with no money, no Wall Street. I really don't know if we need it or not.
As far as the global scale, yes the mortgage did start that. Because it just snowballed. Notice the timeline. Mortgages, Wall Street, Global stock markets and so on. I don't think the well intentioned people that tried to help people get a house knew they were starting this. Clinton tried in vain as did the others in the video and Frank, Dodd and others did not want any investigation or legislation. I saw video of members on a board humiliating a man who was to head up a regulatory committe they created to help stave this very thing off. When he presented his report, they didn't like it. why? Because they didn't expect him or his crew to find anything. It would have destroyed them so they attacked him and his work. All for telling the truth. The video was not on Fox but actual video of the proceedings.
