Dont worry your meter is fine all the new usb birdogs are calibrated that way. just watch your gain on the top and always use that to dither with you'll hit your center a lot better that way than using the signal level anyways. as for what the other guy stated get you a super sat buddy its a lot better and if you know how to use all its functions which most do not, you can use it to tell you if their are splitters on the line in a house how many decible loss that line has of the splitter and a whole lot more. just another word of advice allways use a jumper off your birdog i can count on 1 hand how many techs birdogs ive had to take apart and soder a new barrel on becouse they SUCK!
