A simple "I don't know" would have worked.  Thanks anyways...  I would have bought a 2.5, only if you could buy one brand new, or if the input barrels were replaceable without replacing the entire board...  If I had the cash I would buy a SSB.  Bought a bunk 2.5 once, it lasted 2 days.  There went 250, then 180 to have it repaired...= 430+50 for a new battery=480.....  So a brand new 4.0 with warranty etc for 430 was the best deal, and needing to get back out into the field without any more hiccups.  Haven't had any issues with it not working properly, just wanted to know if someone here actually had one, and was familiar with it more than I.  Thanks.... and isnt there a general discusion forum somewhere?
