I am torn with the old testament and the new which says "turn the other cheek" I think both sayings were put in place for different scenarios. I agree with the part about defending, rape incest, child abuse and kidnapping.

Most will never rehabilitate. It is proven  around 85 percent of sex offenders will never stop doing it. But the feel good crowd doesn't work on facts....just emotion. What about the victim's emotion? Oh I guess they will recover with some sympathy and love. yea bull....it is all good until it happens to one of them. Then they want blood. There goes that emotion.
