My worst Birmingham exp was when the old man left town leaving me at 8 months pregnant to fire a half a dozen guys and hand them each a paycheck that was 1/4 of what they were hoping for. He'd caught them overcharging hours and they went immediately on production. That skinny little chain on the motel door didn't make me feel very secured.
