It should be fine on the side like you mentioned it could use some fine tuning. Here is a way you can do that if you don't have a spectrum analyzer. Most if not all digital receivers have a status menu somewhere that you can put on the screen of a tv and run a lead out to the dish. If you have the manual look and see how to get to that screen if not let me know and I might have the info. Anyways it you can get that going now you have a strength meter and will be able to fine tune it.
Just to let you know you wouldn't be able to bore site amc10 and be able to tune your amc11 well enough, it can be done but it has to be lined up perfect and signal for digital would possible be on the threshold. One last thing to check if you want is for if the dish is warped. You can do this very easy take some string (like kite string) and make an X on the dish. Tape your ends on the lip and where they cross in the center should touch if not your warped and that would be a problem.
