I've been keeping a close eye on the server performance since I bumped the "new item update" in the menu to every 10 seconds for every user. That was a week ago. The server stills runs at 5% average load and hardly peaks beyond 15-20%.

The latency is at the NOC somewhere, nothing to do with the upgrade. I noticed it this morning and when it didn't change by afternoon I called the network guys. They're still looking into it.
