To save time on KAKU upgrades: Once dish is pointed, wiring all run, leave all receivers unplugged from power, start with main rec. Choose round dish in setup. Get through entire setup until channel 201 shows. Unplug receiver. Repeat for each additional receiver. When ready to activate, plug each box in, watching to prevent any downloads. After activating all receivers, force a download by resetting and entering 0 2 4 6 8 as the "hello" screen begins. When download is complete, repeat satellite setup, choosing slimline 5 as dish. When the setup completes, all your channels will be present, and you never once see a QOI screen. Saves lots and lots of time.
