SWM is out of the question. Those of you proposing that he use a SWM for an 80 IRD system need to brush up on your facts. Pico Macom and a few other companies make some very nice rack mount multiswitches that are ideal. The TSMS-5-16RK for example. There was one reply that made the most sense. And that was to power pass into 4-way power pass and then go with powered multiswitches. This is the best idea. Whether or not you use the rack mount or standard 16-way, doesn't matter. But make sure that the pp splitters are rated at 2150 and USE THE KA/KU! Don't use a 3-sat. Just a waste of time and a repeat trip later.
