Have you tried working in-house with the local CATV company? Despite what you may hear on the bar. The pay has gotten better for most installers and the focus is on quality and quantity. Contracting is a young man's trade at 53 I'd be focusing on benefits and retirement plans. Also, the will normally pay you as you go through some sort of new hire training program.
