While doing the downtown LA build I had a strand crew come in, they had left an alley run where a man was chasing them with a machiettie after cutting another mans arm off in front of them..LA..I had a lineman 24 yrs. old, with a wife and two little girls shot in the chest with a 45 cal. handgun when he knocked on the front door to get permission to enter the backyard...Night splicing in LA..Splicer was up in his bucket and a man was trying to steal a VW underneath him, the owner opened the front door and shot the theif dead in front of him...NC..Had an old woman about 80 trying to cut down the pole with an axe, the lineman was on it, said he had walked in her garden...a lot of talking and three policemen to disarm her...There are a lot more but this is probably getting a bit too long..
