Contractor to In-House

Wow what a world of change.  Through the eyes of a ex-contractor...you could dang near get away with murder  or piss poor workmanship and still have a in-house job.  I have found it impossible to get rid of the contracting mentality of work hard,fast,provide excellent workmanship, and the do what it takes attitude to just get the job done.  I often find it hard to keep my mouth shut when these whinny ass newbies to the cable industry cry about workload and the type of work they have to do.....8-5....I mean I am no 20 year vet but damn...shut your mouths and do the work.  anyways ....its like going from Kansas to OZ on a wicked tornado rolling down the lines of cable tv.
