This is the first year I have ever had a holiday off....Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years, and I love it....speaking from experience....I say stay home even if they threaten you and you need the $$$ they WON'T fire you.
They threaten because they need you sooooooo much.
Hard lesson- I took a while learning.
