The week between Christmas and New Year's has always been the time we get to escape from cableland and spend real time with family and friends. (Though I still look up at the sticks as I'm driving to the relatives for dinner!) I wouldn't read it as the death of the industry. It will come back slowly this year, worse than most for sure, but it will be back. Happy New Year 2009 All.
