I just left Mediacom to come back to Va. They just got done with the upgrade and still isn't up to par. System still was noisy as hell when I left, pic grainy from all the noise. Little to say C/N was at 36db. I know David Kaine was about to fire all the maintence techs if they didn't get there act straight. They are also more involved with sells instead of fixing the problem. You never got a good job by having little to no return trips. But you got it when you sold somebody a triple play you couldn't guarantee if it was going to work right. I had to do alot of lying. Its also bad to when you checked your sprectrum at the tap, your noise floor was sitting at +10db. That is noisy. They wouldn't allow us to add noise filters on cx drops when we found noisy homes and nobody was home.
