Wireless Project Manager

The Wireless Project Manager is responsible for managing the team and the installation process of wireless links. Other responsibilities include ordering all materials and tools to perform the installations, managing expenses and materials for each project. This person will be involved in the engineering and design of data links utilizing software and physical site survey tools, preparation of all documentation, i.e., installation/installation/post-installation. The manager is responsible for the success of the installation as well as managing the customers expectations. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

Site survey, preparation, cable pathway review, etc
Preparation of detail plans for the site installation, electronics, equipment racks, cable pathway, etc.
Oversee the installation of antenna mounts and cable infrastructure and ground cable
Documentation of cables, cable pathway, links, etc.
Interface with technical support resources  customer, supplier and installation team

Job Requirements:

Working knowledge of wireless communications technologies, DSS, Spread Spectrum, microwave transmission, etc.
Working knowledge of Wireless point-to-point and multipoint wireless network topologies
Working knowledge LAN/WAN topologies and leased line services
Knowledge of data cable infrastructure
Ability to work during off hours, when necessary
Self-motivated, Reliable, Resourceful
Good communication skills
Exposure to Tower Design is helpful
Minimum 3 years in Project Management and 3 years in Data Communications Technologies
