Very well put. It is for that reason that the government doesn't want us to have guns. They don't want us to be able to protect ourselves from them. Then they have the military to enforce anything they decide and we are powerless.
On another note, back when the Brady act was happening there was a politician who had supported it big. I wish I could remember his name. A couple of years after it was enacted a burglar broke into his home in DC. .......He shot the burglar........with a gun that was not registered and was illegal to own in DC. A law he helped get on the book! So politicians live a double standard as they think they are smarter than we are. Being a convincing liar doesn't make anyone smarter just a better liar.
