A young family moved into a house next to a vacant lot. One day, a construction crew began to build a house on the vacant lot. The young familys five year old daughter took an interest on what was happening and spent much of each day watching the workers.
Eventually the construction crew, all of them gems-in-the-rough, adopted her as a project mascot. they chattred with her during lunch breaks and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important. At the end of the first week they presented her with a pay envelope containing $10.00. The little girl took this home to her mother who suggested she take it to the bank the next day and open a savings account. When the l;ittle girl and her mom got to the bank the teller was empressed and asked the little girl how she had come by her very own paycheck at such an early age. The little girl proudly replied that she had worked for a real construction crew building the new house next door to us. Oh my goodness said the teller, and will you be working on the house again this week?
The little girl replied, I will, If those assholes from Home Depot ever deliver the f***ing sheet rock.
Kinda brings a tear to your eye, dosen't it?
