Don't take this the wrong way, but I think the only one on here that is deaf and blind is you.
If every company you work for takes you for some amount of money, you must be the unluckiest installer on the planet, or the problem is not the companies.
I think you need to take a long hard look at how you conduct your business and see if you can find where the real problem lies!
