I just found out today that Rembrandt (Rem) Mays passed away a few days ago from heart failure. Rem was employed by ARRIS as a sales engineer and was originally with C-COR since the 1980's prior to the buyout by ARRIS.
Rem had visited numerous cable TV systems throughout the country and will be missed by countless people on both the manufacturer and MSO side of the business. I worked with Rem at C-COR in the late 80's.
When I find out more information on when and where the service will be held I will post it here.
