They won't go under. they will re-organize under chapter 11. Or they can borrow and change the way they do business. Private business isn't the taxpayers responsibility to keep going. If that were true then why don't ALL businesses get this protection? Just a few select ones seem to get this protection. Any contractors here are a business and if business falls off are we going to get money from the government? NO. The auto industry is far too big to go under and the corporations running these companies won't let them fail completely. Way too much money out there.
