did a job 2 years ago in Chatam NY the coax & fiber was overlashed to tel's copper. after the rebuild we did the scrape & rape on the fiber and wrecked out the coax. simple huh? not, the splicers didn't get paid to move the drops and we ran into alot of copper lashed over the fiber not to mention the old rusted out steel lashin' wire on the existing copper. it was still a money maker. lots of work.
the linemen are slimein' but at least they're still climbin'
