I never needed rockets, I just put on my Bashlands offsets and they would take me up and down the poles easy as you please.
that was after 10 years of using Kline straight gaffs. I got a some Wesco lineman boots that I bought new in 89 for $95.00 the only thing I ever did to them besides mink-oil them twice a year and replace the laces was had them resoled about 6 years ago. I don't think you can buy a set of good Wescos for under $185.00 now.
