The hell with carrying a ladder into an easement; I have always found a way to get up mid-span in an easement besides going to the truck or sending the grunt to get it. No. I can't lie. I have used them, but I sure as hell don't like too. A ladder will hurt you, wear you out, and are generally a pain in the back.
