I have come across the commercial issue a few times w/DNet...what I would do is get a person on the line to activate, clear it and get the info/numbers I needed to get paid, ten before I hang up have the CSR make a note on this account tha it was a commercial install. This only works if you are wiling to accept the res pay for the install. But at that point it is between the CX and DNet...and believe me, DNet WILL follow up on it and they then have a record of the retailer. I know because I have done it to a storage facility that had the tv in the office, and a small bar...and on both when i went back later I was chased out and 'barred' because of the money I 'cost them'. But then, I'm an independent too -- so no backwash!
As far as the res issue, again it is up to you to speak up to real people at activation, NOT computers, or it never gets known since they don't generally audit!
