Government Bail Outs or Government Loans?

Here we are with companies standing in line asking for handouts from the tax payers. While I do believe we are in a mess and something should be done I believe government loans is the right approach with these companies having to pay back interest. I don't mind if we have to help the situation by loaning money but the money should be paid back to us. Your thoughts?
