When I did this in Phoenix, it was a sweet gig. The rules you suggest sound like garbage. We had the privilege of walking off of any site that require a re-install to bring a digi within specs. It was also a one-way at the time so no IP addresses to be obtained. I was making $400-600 a day as an employee. We worked pretty much street by street. Most jobs were approximate appointment, but we had the entire street sheet so if we saw the neighbor was home and had a few analogs to swap, we did it right then. Cox had taken over a system in Glendale that apparently had a problem with boxes being hacked so Cox was interested in getting them all out of the system as quick as possible.
